Sacramento Sign Language Interpreters – EIPA workshops

The EIPA Diagnostic Center is excited to offer three video conference workshops for the 2009-2010 academic year. The workshops are designed for interpreters working in K-12 classroom settings, community interpreters, future interpreters, K-12 interpreter mentors, deaf educators and individuals supervising or working with interpreters. The workshops will be offered nationwide via video conferencing technology to multiple sites.

Video conferences will take place on Saturdays 7:40 am – noon (telefeed begins promptly at 8:00 broadcast is coming to us live from Omaha, Nebraska – note flyer has central time listed).

Nov 14th- Understanding the Ed Interpreter Performance Assessment: Tips for Success for First Time and Repeat Test Takers

Jan 16th- Classifiers II: A Continuation of Using Classifiers for First Time and Repeat Test Takers

April 17th- Sign-to-Voice Interpreting: Interpreting for Child Signers

.4 CEUs available, no partial CEUs, Late arrivers (15 min. or more) are not eligible for CEUs.
